Add a Commission Agent
To add a Commission Agent to a Reservation, click 
from the Commission Agents Card within a Reservation.
from the Commission Agents Card within a Reservation.Commission Agent Type - Select the Commission Agent type desired. When the Commission Agent search screen is open, the Commission Agent Type will auto populate as the search filter.
Commission Agent - This is the Commission Agent Vendor who will receive credit. Click on the drop down to access the Commission Agent search screen.
Percent - Populate the Percentage indicator if the commission type is a percentage type. If it is a dollar amount, unpopulate this indicator. This is auto populated from the Commission Agent record.
This is the default commission type for the Commission Agent. This may be changed on a per reservation basis if the user has Security Profile access to “Edit Commission Agent”.
Percent/Amount - Populate the Percentage or Amount in this field.
This field will default to the default Percentage/Amount saved on the Commission Agent record. This may be changed on a per reservation basis if the user has Security Profile access to “Edit Commission Agent”.
When a rate type of percent is selected, the amount entered may not be greater than 99.99%.
Commission Based On - Currently the only option is “Net Rent-Recurring”. The commission will be based on rent charges only. This is auto populated from the Commission Agent record.
Credit Date - Currently, the only option is “Paid in Full Date”. The commission will show up in the Batch Commissions screen for posting once the invoice is paid in full. This is auto populated from the Commission Agent record.
Vendor Contact - If the Commission Agent record contains multiple Contacts, the correct contact may be selected here. The vendor contact will be for information purposes only, and will have no effect on the payable for the commission, which will always be based on the Vendor.
At the point of selecting the Commission Agent on the Reservation, Users will have access to select the Commission Agent Contact. After the record is saved, this may be changed on a per reservation basis if the user has Security Profile access to “Edit Commission Agent”.
