Operations Recap
This report is located under Management > Financial > Operations Recap. The Operations Recap report searches the Oscar database for Units with activity during the period selected for the report. Activity is defined as Unit lease dates, Unit AP activity and/or Reservation lease dates for the period.
Units will appear on the report without lease contract dates if there is a Reservation booked in the Unit for the period requested. (Unit Start and End dates will report as NULL). This would indicate that either the Unit Contract date did not get extended or that the Reservation is booked into the wrong Unit.
This report will assist Accounts Payable management with auditing rent and rent-type expense rates, as well as verifies Unit lease contract dates prior to, and after processing the Batch Postings.
This report will assist Accounts Receivable management with auditing resident rental rates, as well as verify resident lease contract dates prior to, and after processing the Batch Invoicing.
Rent/Rent Services Payable
Rate - reads from the UDC Rent type service line rate located in the Unit/Financial/Contract/Direct Costs fields.
Pending - amounts display here before the Accounts Payable/Batch Postings process has been posted for Rent and Rent-type expenses.
Posted - amounts appear in this column after the Accounts Payable/Batch Postings process has been posted for Rent and Rent-type expenses.
Paid - amounts appear in this column after the check is issued.
Rent/Rent Services PAYABLE
Statistical Furnished Units/Suites – Things to look for:
Rent Receivable
Potential reads from Unit/Financial/Rent Potential field and represents the guest billing amount that is desired.
Rate reads from the Reservation/Resident/Rent Information section and represents the actual resident billing amount for the CURRENT period.
Pending reads from the guest ledger any Rent up to and including amounts that have not been invoiced for the period of the report.
Invoiced is the amount of Rent that has been invoiced for that period.
Rent RECEIVABLE
Statistical Furnished Units/Suites – Things to look for:
Market and Property Subtotals
The Market subtotals read from the Market selected on the Unit and are grouped in alphabetical order. The Property subtotals within the Markets read from the Unit setups and are grouped by the actual Property/Address.
Example: All Units with the name Orange Plaza will be grouped on the Operations Recap and report subtotals for the Rent /Rent Type Services Payable and Rent Receivable Headers.
