Program Settings
After populating this option in Program Settings, all new markets created will default to Auto Generate Unit IDs.
To prevent truncation to the Building No, the sum of the Building No and the Apartment No should not exceed 8 characters. This will still allow for the six character property name and 2 dashes to separate the fields while maintaining the 16 character Unit ID maximum.
The maximum number of characters for the database and/or individual markets is; Building: 7 Apartment: 9
This setting will allow the entry of data for the maximum number of characters per field; however, the unit can only be sixteen (16) characters total. The Building number will always be truncated to accommodate the property id and the apartment number.
