Accrued Security Deposits (Credit Balance)
This account is credited when a security deposit charge is invoiced. When a payment is posted (partial or total) this account is debited. This payment amount automatically creates a credit to the Security Deposit Liability account.
The balance of this account equals all invoiced security deposits that have not been fully paid. No journal entries should be made to this account.
