Regenerate
Occasionally, Tax Types will need to be updated with new rates based on a municipality changing the Tax percentage. After the Tax Types have been updated, the Regenerate option will automatically update all Resident Ledgers that are associated with the Tax Profile that contain UN-invoiced charges.
This process must be thought out before implementation. As soon as the Tax Types are updated, they will utilize the new settings on any new reservations added to the database.
A typical update to the Tax Profiles would consist of the following steps:
1. All invoices are created for the current period.
2. Update the Tax Types.
3. Regenerate the Tax Profile.
4. Invoice for the new periods.
