Tax Configuration
For veteran Oscar Orion program Users who have not collected and remitted sales taxes in the past using the Oscar Enterprise program, please pay special attention to the following configuration steps that are mandatory in order to collect and remit taxes.
Note: Sales taxes are posted to the General Ledger at the time the Reservation is invoiced. The “Cash Option” of the Sales Tax Report will report taxes for the period requested, only when the Invoice is paid in full. If “Accrual Basis” is selected, the taxes are due for the period they are invoiced.
