Tax Refunds
Automatic Tax Refunds criteria that were saved during setup of the Tax Profile can be accessed and posted via the Tax Refunds Batch Utility. Located in A/R > Tax Refunds.

Select the criteria: Up To Date, Market and Tax Type. Click
to search.
Click in the checkbox of the line item to post or click “Select All”.

This automatically posts tax refunds to the guest ledgers as well as tax credits to the appropriate taxing authorities.
If the Refund is showing in the screen incorrectly, select the Refund and choose
. This will remove the Refund from the Tax Refund screen without posting it back to the Resident’s Ledger.
Note: This utility only retrieves refunds
· If the charge has been invoiced and
· If the tax refund days on the tax profile settings has been met and
· The refund tax credit has not already been posted or if there was a partial refund made, the balance will show for posting.
